On Tuesday I found myself in my Sonia Rykiel sweater dress and Chanel boots from a lifetime ago. Dress? Boots? Los Angeles?
I looked to the heavens and thanked Mother Nature for her kind delivery of some chilly weather.
This Sunday we put away our shorts and sandals and Fall Back into the comfort of sweater weather. It’s November and nothing is sweeter than wrapping yourself up in knits. The only thing better might be eating pie by a fire while wearing these soft and fuzzy delights.
I now live in Los Angeles, but thankfully I’m living in a house on a hill with its own climate. I also happen to be close to the Pacific Ocean. These variables allow for diversity in my wardrobe many Los Angelinos don’t get to experience. Cross east over the 405 and you’re forever in Summer dresses and flip-flops. Downtown, Echo Park and Los Feliz might be cooler places to be, but I want cooler as in Fahrenheit and not in attitude.
Lets wrap this up and unwrap some candy. The bounty of Halloween awaits while the kids are still at school.
